It doesn’t get any more polite than this. Most signage relies on clear and to-the-point wording to discourage trespassers. However, this sign takes time to outline what will happen to anyone who goes behind the red gate.

Interestingly, a prolific lawyer could avoid a protracted lawsuit by making a convincing argument in favor of their client. First, there’s the fact that this attempt at access control is nothing but a piece of string that one can easily cut through. The sign also fails to mention the potential hazard. Still, it would cost less to obey the sign.
